Cultural tour (6 Days / 5 Nights)

Georgian culture, which has its roots in ancient history, has experienced the worst disasters century but retains its identity and to this day. Just Think about it, the ancient monuments of history and culture of Georgia, dating back to the 5th, 6th millennium BC, and you will realize how unique Georgian culture. It has always differed from other cultures by its unique art, songs, fiery dances, stunning jewelry of gold and a special technology of metal processing. No wonder that from ancient times Georgia was of great interest for other countries, proof of which is the myth of the Argonauts. But the Argonauts were not the first who visited Georgia. Located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia on the Silk Road, Georgia has been visited by travelers, missionaries, ambassadors. They documented their journey and, in this way, later presented the Georgian culture to other people.
Visit Georgia and explore new destination, new but very old country, with oldest monuments in the world.

Sample itinerary:
Day 1
Arrival to Tbilisi Airport.
We will drive to David Gareja desert.
Visits to: The Baptist Monastery complex (6th - 9th cc, fragments of frescos);
Lavra Monastery (6th c AD);
Udabno Monastery complex (9th-17th cc frescos);
Drive to Signaghi. Visit Ninotsminda church on the way.
Visit of Bodbe Monastery. Grave of Saint Nino (enlightener of Georgia).
Day 2
Trip to Telavi
Visit: Alexander Chavchavadze's Palace in Tsinandali, Museum and wine cellar. Wine tasting:
Alaverdy Cathedral;
Gremi monastery;
Ikalto monastery.
Drive to Gudauri
Day 3
Trip to town Kazbegi.
Visit: Gergeti Sameba (Holy Trinity) church by 4x4 vehicles (optional, for extra cost), with beautiful panoramic views of Caucasus, including mount Kazbegi (5047m.).
Driving to Sno gorge, rich of natural mineral water springs and old towers.
Day 4
Gudauri - Mtskheta – Tbilisi
On the way visit Ananuri fortified ensemble.
Proceed to Mtskheta - the ancient capital of Georgia and the important religious centre. There are a number of very significant archaeological and religious monuments in and around the town: Jvari Monastery (6th c.), Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th c.).
Drive to Tbilisi.
Day 05
Tbilisi - Sightseeing tour
Sameba Cathedral (Trinity of the Second Millennium), Metekhi Church (XIII c.), Old Tbilisi, Sulpher Baths, Narikala Fortress (IV c.), Sioni Cathedral (XIII c.) and Anchiskhati Church.
Free time (half day). You can wander through the streets of Tbilisi, to enjoy the city life, take pictures, spend the evening in a bar or restaurant of your choice.
Day 6
Transfer to the airport and departure.
